i absolutly love nyc. the first two photos are of my favorite buildings that i stumbled upon while walking from alphabet city to soho. i am crazy about chevron in the two tone brick pattern. i also like how the dark brick building accomplishes a similar feel but instead of using color it uses the pattern in a three dimensional way.
the high line project is in the ultra hip meatpacking district. it has gotten mixed reviews but personally i think it is geneous! the attention to detail and innovation is refreshing and it is the perfect place to spend a beautiful day. the project is still developing but i think it is already a great addition to the city. a must see when you are in nyc-plus you are go grab a drink at new the standard hotel and droll over daine von furstenberg's office.
